The Dialog Serial Port Service (DSPS) from Dialog Semiconductor is a proprietary service over the Bluetooth® low energy protocol that emulates a serial cable communication. It provides a simple wireless substitute for wired (RS-232) connections.
The DSPS reference application is an application for demonstrating the SPS service. The DSPS application can discover, connect and exchange data with other DSPS enabled devices within the Bluetooth RF range of the mobile device.
